Jun 16, 2007 · From reading various forums there seems to be three different sizes of hard drive in the box, 40GB, 80GB, 160GB(80GB available/80GB for 'Sky Anytime'). It appears that 'Sky Anytime' will only work with the 'newer' Sky+ boxes. So what size HDD do you get in the 'newer' boxes and are these issued as standard now on a new install?
The later Sky+ boxes had a 160gb drive with 80gb available for personal use and the other 80gb for Sky Anytime. The newest Sky+HD boxes now have 500gb with 250gb for personal use and 250gb for Sky Anytime. The Sky+HD 1tb box actually has a 1.5tb hard drive with 1tb personal and 500gb for Sky Anytime. If you want to have an inclusive calls service for free then Sky Talk Evenings & Weekends will suit you, but you may find that by taking Sky Talk Anytime Extra UK with Sky Broadband and Sky TV may actually offer you a saving, and there are often incentives to join, such as high street vouchers or a free Sky box, when you take multiple Sky services.
